    what is cat litter

Cat litter is the magical substance that makes life easier for owners around the world. In the wild, cats instinctively bury their urine and feces. Cat litter was born for the same idea - to allow cats to dig and bury their urine and feces in one place, thereby making it easier for people to remove and throw out the waste.

Cat litter comes in different materials and is increasingly being experimented upon, however, the five most common types of cat litter are clay (bentonite), tofu, silica, paper, and corn.

Bentonite is an ideal base for clumping cat litter because of its ability to absorb moisture and liquid (urine). When in contact with liquids, bentonite absorbs 3.5 times its own weight, causing cat litter to form clumps that can be easily scooped up, so Bentonite clay creates a clumping pet litter that is convenient for cat owners.

Bentonite cat litter allows solids and urine clumps to be removed more easily, be thrown away; and then each time, a small amount of new substrate is added. These kinds of cat litters have high absorption and clumping capacity which results in locking a huge amount of odors in solids and superior odor control.
